Financial Privacy Statement


Jack Martin & Associates has long recognized the importance of protecting your privacy. We understand your expectations that information furnished to us will be safeguarded and treated responsibly. As part of our compliance with federal regulations, we provide annually a statement of our privacy practices. This Privacy Disclosure tells you the kind of information we collect on our customers, how we protect it, and with whom we share it. The examples you will find in this Privacy Disclosure are for purposes of illustration and should not be considered a complete description.

When we use the words “you” and “your” we mean the following types of customers:

All of our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship with us through ownership of insurance or financial products.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing an insurance product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.

An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company this is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.


We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
  • Information from a consumer reporting agency


We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except as permitted by law. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information to third parties for their independent use. We do not provide account or personal information to outside companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any insurance products or services. We may disclose nonpublic personal information we collect about you described above to third party service companies that perform services that assist us in processing transactions or insurance products that you have requested. We also disclose nonpublic personal information we collect about you described above to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf and to other insurance institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. These companies are contractually bound to maintain the strict confidentiality of any customer information shared with them; further use of the information is prohibited.

We also disclose experience and transaction information with credit bureaus, applicable insurance regulatory agencies or when required by law (such as pursuant to a court order or subpoena.)

If your relationship with us becomes inactive, we will continue to treat the information we have collected in accordance with this Privacy Disclosure.


We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.


In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we may communicate information about our transactions or experiences with you to our affiliates, such as name, address, account history, types of accounts, and products you purchase from us. Jack Martin & Associates affiliates that may receive this information are financial institutions, data processing companies, financial service providers and insurance agencies.
